Why Use a Bidet?

There are a number of different benefits that make a bidet or attachable bidet seat worth using. It is important to weigh both the benefits and the costs when it comes to bidet seating so that you can make sure you are going to benefit from this addition to your bathroom. There are benefits to all types of bidets, though the benefits are slightly distinct between the traditional style bidet and the attachable bidet. The attachable bidet is a bidet seat that you attach to an ordinary toilet while the traditional bidet is a standalone plumbing feature that you install next to the toilet in the bathroom.

The first benefit of a bidet is that it will leave your body cleaner quicker than wiping is going to allow. Wiping may not be cleaning you as well as you believe. A bidet will clean you up better, and it will do so in less time than wiping would allow. Additionally, using a bidet seat will cut down on your toilet paper use. No longer do you have to check the toilet paper to make sure you have done a good job cleaning up. Now you can simply rinse yourself off with a warm stream of water from your toilet seat bidet and you will be good to go.

Another reason that you can use a bidet is to wash off following sexual intercourse. Sexual intimacy can leave germs behind which a bidet can eliminate for you. You can use the bidet to keep yourself clean down below even when you are not using the toilet normally. There is no need to take a long shower to clean up after intimacy, you can simply use your bidet toilet seat to clean up and you will be good to go. Using a bidet toilet seat makes it simple to clean up without dirtying your hands or spreading germs around, one of the greatest benefits of its use.

If you care about personal hygiene, or have difficulty keeping yourself clean after using the restroom, then there are numerous reasons to consider using a bidet. There are both standalone bidet models and attachable bidet models, and it is up to you to decide which is best going to meet your needs. If you want to save space and effort, then an attachable bidet is a smart move because it allows you to combine your regular toilet with the functionality and capabilities of a bidet all in one.

i don’t know anything about bidets. my daughter just had neurosurgery and can’t reach behind her back anymore. is a bidet a good solution to this? preferabbly i would like one that also dries for her as well…

Hello Paul. Bidets have many health benefits and many people are increasingly aware of their therapeutic effect. For your daughter, I would suggest one of the electric bidets since they all come with an air dryer. Between those electric bidets you have the choice of having a remote. If you do not need a remote control and can use the bidet with the side control panel your options are: BB-600, BL-17, BB-800. The wireless remote control models are the BB-1000 and USPA.

A bidet would be a wonderful solution to your daughter’s current limit.
